The General Office of the State Council issued a notice on Thursday announcing the members of the organizing committee of the first China International Import Expo, which is slated for November in Shanghai.

Vice-Premier Hu Chunhua will chair the committee, while Zhong Shan, minister of commerce and Ying Yong, Shanghai mayor, as well as Ding Xiangyang, deputy secretary-general of the State Council, will serve as deputy chairs of the committee.

The committee also includes the deputy heads of 24 State Council departments, including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the General Administration of Customs, according to the notice.
