Chinese artist Kong Ning shows her new installation titled "Roses that breathe" in Beijing on Wednesday to mark the World Earth Day.

The artwork is composed of eight "roses" with inflatable devices, which shows that love and life bloom under the good care of earth, symbolizing the human and earth live and breathe together, Kong Ning said.

The theme for this year's World Earth Day is "climate action". With the world battling the COVID-19 epidemic, Kong wearing the "rose" installation said "People around the world should unite to fight against the virus, to really protect our earth. As the earth gives us plenty of water, air and sunshine, we need to appreciate that and cherish our earth more."
