The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched an art program for art students and amateur art lovers, offering a platform for young Chinese people to display their art and communicate with one another.

Starting Feb 27, the program has kicked off an online channel for applicants to upload their works covering a number of genres, such as vocal and musical performances.

Veteran musicians and critics will serve on the judging panel. In August, a grand event showcasing top works will be held at the Silk Road International Arts Center in Langfang, Hebei province.
