A slew of celebrities have canceled their movie promotions today to mourn those dead and injured in the disastrous Tianjin blasts.

Hours before the upcoming rom-com film EX-Files Beijing media event, its producer Huayi Brothers called a suspension of its promotional event. In a message sent from the company, it writes, "Let's ask a blessing for Tianjian and the people in Binhai New Area".

The Third Way of Love's co-stars, actress Liu Yifei and South Korean actor Song Seung-heon announced the cancellation of a press conference for their romance title. Both wearing black, they bowed to the reporters and then left the restaurant in downtown Beijing. The two stars have recently dominated entertainment headlines for their romance in real life.

According to the latest reports, explosions in a hazardous-goods warehouse in the city's Binhai New Area killed 44 and injured 520.
