多少新聞，多少網(wǎng)頁，多少博客，多少廣告都想讓網(wǎng)民們在不斷拿鼠標點擊，饑渴的尋找下一秒新鮮話題和新聞的過程中，能夠暫停動作，關(guān)注到他們。如果它們做到了，那么它們就成為了thumbstopper—“劃屏終結(jié)者”。

Thumbstopper refers to an eye-catching or compelling item that makes a person stop scrolling through a list of posts, particularly when using the thumb to scroll a touchscreen device.

“劃屏終結(jié)者”指的就是一個引人注目的產(chǎn)品或新聞，讓人們在不斷點擊新鮮話題的過程中停下腳步關(guān)注到，特別是在他們在用手指劃屏下拉時。

A lots of news have become the thumbstopper, from Malaysia Airlines plane crash a while ago to the official investigation recently, or the box office star the Tiny Times 3 and the celebrities taking drugs. There are some traits shared by those thumbstoppers, for instance, little presence, little contact with grass roots, as well as cross-field.
