北京市政府上周向社會(huì)發(fā)布“北京精神”表述語(yǔ)?！皭?ài)國(guó)、創(chuàng)新、包容、厚德”正式成為“北京精神”表述語(yǔ)。短短8個(gè)字，高度濃縮著北京市民對(duì)這個(gè)城市忠誠(chéng)的熱愛(ài)。

Patriotism, innovation, inclusion and social morals - according to a new poll, this group of words is what residents in the capital feel best sums up this bustling metropolis.
“愛(ài)國(guó)、創(chuàng)新、包容、厚德”——這是首都市民在最近的調(diào)查中選出的最能概括這個(gè)大都市的一組詞。
上文報(bào)道中的patriotism, innovation, inclusion and social morals（愛(ài)國(guó)、創(chuàng)新、包容、厚德）就是北京市民票選出的Beijing spirit（北京精神）?！氨本┚瘛被顒?dòng)是為了發(fā)揚(yáng)socialist core values（社會(huì)主義核心價(jià)值觀(guān)）。
其中，inclusiveness（包容性）是價(jià)值體系的主體部分，因?yàn)楸本┦?strong>one of the most inclusive cities in the world（世界上最具包容性的城市之一）；而體現(xiàn)honesty（誠(chéng)實(shí)）和integrity（正直）的social morals（道德品質(zhì)）則是首都市民主體素質(zhì)的體現(xiàn)。政府對(duì)價(jià)值觀(guān)的建設(shè)將有助于增強(qiáng)我國(guó)的soft power（軟實(shí)力）。
